Blackberry Picking Time

Oooh lookie,
a whole hillside of lovely blackberries there for the picking -
so a-picking we did go.
Luscious and juicy, I must admit that some got eaten along the way.....
Now snap frozen, awaiting to be included in a sweet recipe or two....

Oh yum! I love fresh blackberries and they're so rare to find these days, most local governments treat them as pests and spray them. You are very lucky to have them near you.

Lucky thing you...Not fair. Way to hot up here for anything that yummy to grow...although the mango tree has a few large mangoes this year!
