A recent visitor to our garden is this little guy - an 'Emerald Dove'. Gorgeous!
The green plumage (which is quite shiny) helps it to be camouflaged in the rainforest.
It has been so dry in these parts - no rain for over a month now.
The birds love to visit here - there is always water in the birdbaths and seed in the feeders.
