Garden Day

Today you will find me out and about pottering around the garden.
Lots to do. Cutting back, mulching and weeding.....
Later this afternoon, I will do some baking, a yummy fruit tart and perhaps some lemon butter. The lemon tree is loaded with luscious fruit and our chooks are laying more regularly.
How is your garden going?

Cheerio for now,

Despite a little rain the garden is still pretty dry. The jacarandas will be in bloom any day now though. Looks good at your place though Sandi.

LOYS and LOTS of rain here the last few weeks! Spent a good solid four hours in it this weekend weeding and cleaning up etc. Feel better for it. There is a section where I need a man to turn over the ground with some serious amount of sugar cane/compost and cow manure. Think I may wait for the garlic to finish in it first...

Just my favourite time of the year in the garden with all the flowers, sounds like a great weekend.
