Keeping Babies Warm

Born to Knit is a campaign run by Save the Children Australia.

They are rallying the knitting troops of Australia to knit 15,000 woollen blankets. Your blanket will help a child stay warm and feel comfy and safe. Most importantly, your blanket will help to ward against pneumonia, one of the biggest killers of children under five in the developing world.
We are aiming to knit 15,000 blankets to distribute through Save the Children programs in India, Cambodia & Laos & we need your help!

You can just make a few squares or a whole blanket.
Here is the link:
I am knitting a few squares to help out, Sarah is as well. When finished, we will send them on to Sally, who will stitch the knitted squares together to make the blankets. Can you help?

Cheerio for now,

Great weather for.....

Our pet duck, Winkie, is thoroughly enjoying the rainy weather these past few days.....
paddling in the puddles,
and poking around amongst the autumn leaves.
I've been busy sorting through cupboards and getting more organised.
A bit of recycling and goods for the charity shops. Now I have more room :)

Have a lovely weekend everyone!
