Brown Owls Craft Group

At this month's  Brown Owls group (Sunshine Coast), we had a printing workshop. It was so much fun. First we tried potato printing. I made a two-part strawberry stamp (made out of a potato).
Do you like my teatowel?

Here is Melinda Saunders, (above) our wonderful teacher, giving us a few tips on how it's done.

Here is Mia trying out her tree stamp.

We also made some foam stamps and tried out a carved woodblock stamp.
We printed little t-shirts, teatowels, gift bags and cards and a shopping tote (in between cups of tea and yummy carrot cake), (thanks Mia for the cake).
A most productive morning.

Next month we will be decorating eggs - just in time for easter!
