Daffodil Day

Today is Daffodil Day here in Australia,
it's a day for us all to give hope for a brighter cancer-free future for ourselves, and for those we love.
Established as an Australia-wide event in 1992, Daffodil Day has become the largest fundraising event of its kind in the southern hemisphere. Cancer Council now raises around eight million dollars each Daffodil Day, providing vital funds for research, education and support services.
take care,
Sandi x

Your daffs look so cheerful. I haven't been down the street to buy any fresh ones, but I have another couple of badges to add to my ever growing collection.

I bought some yesterday. Daffodils are my favourite flowers!!! I love the smell they have. It takes me back to Victoria and I stood beside the road as a 5 year old looking at a field of tulips. Which aren't daffodils, I know, but that's where the smell takes me! lol

For the first time in years I have not come across a Daffodil stall yesterday...Or maybe I live a little under a rock at the moment?
Your picture is beautiful Sandi, Thanks for the reminder.
