Mystery Sewing Object

Can you guess what this is? ........ you may have seen these before.

It is an automatic needle threader. Made in Italy.
I couldn't go past this bargain, purchased from a hospital op-shop for sixty cents.
You just place your needle according to size in one of the tubes, eye end down, lay your thread in the gap, slide the little black knob across, and this pushes the thread through the eye. Easy!!
Happy stitching,

Oh wow, I've never seen one of those before. I'll be on the loolout just in case there's another lurking about at the oppy somewhere!

Hey that is cool! I had wondered what it was before I read your note.

It would save me pricking myself and losing needles!

That was a nice and useful buy! Love the pincushion on the background, lovely fabric with little chickens!

I havn't seen one of those automatic threaders in years and years (at least 40) My Grandmother had one. My Great Aunt (Grandmom's older sister) Had two of them. Now I need one and can't find one anywhere.

Doesn´t this take more time than doing it yourself :)
