65 Roses Project

This morning, I finished the block for the 65 Roses project for CF (Cystic Fibrosis). Now I just have to post it off. The roses (my design) are coloured with prismacolor pencils, sealed with fabric/textile medium, then embroidered.
Kathreen (from WhipUp) is going to combine 65 rose blocks to make a quilt to be auctioned at the CF Gala Event in Canberra, later this year. Can't wait to see the finished quilt.
Cheerio,
Sandi xx

Hey Sandi (waving at you). That block looks great! Well done : o ) I WISH I thought of doing the colour technique... Anyway at least I got lots of practice with satin stitching...

Wow Sandi, that's gorgeous. Can I ask what on earth Fabric Medium is?

Happy new year Sandi. The roses are lovely, as is the block. I'm intrigued by how you did it. Are the pencils special ones? And I'm not familiar with the fabric medium. It's very effective.
