Button Find

Mr Roo and I had a short trip up to Rainbow Beach on Friday/Saturday, staying overnight at a villa in the holiday village there. Every year, relatives and friends of ours, stay at Rainbow Beach around christmas time. A friend, Christine, (on holiday also) was having a craft stall, raising money for an overseas orphanage. Bought some lovely buttons from her. I liked these vintage yellow ones.

Cool blue ceramic buttons.

More ceramic buttons of various designs and earthy colours. You can never have too many buttons.
Happy Stitching,

NO, you can NEVER have too many buttons!

One of my colleagues told me she had a phobia with buttons...isn't that weird? she said her mother had a large button box when she was growing up and it creeped her out. (I thought it sounded like a lot of fun...a large button box!)

The vintage ones are cool...the price and the cards!

The buttons are great, lucky you to both go on a holiday AND be able to buy some buttons.

My grandmother always had a large collection of buttons so I'm trying to carry on that tradition also. Love the blue ceramic, gorgeous!
We also took a little family get away this weekend and now we are back in the swing of our routines. It's always nice to get away, hope you have a great week!

These buttons are a great buy! And you are right, one never have enough buttons! I have a lot of them in glasses, more than I will ever be able to use, but anytime when I need some, I just seem not to find the one I'm looking for!...Reason enough to buy new ones ;-)))
