We saw lots of 'street theatre'. Here is a teapot and cup (we saw them later on that night - all lit up). The teapot occasionally sprayed water at people - I thought it was starting to sprinkle rain :) until I saw it was just the teapot :)
This girl was dressed up as an elf /pixie?- she even had the pointed ears (didn't show up in the photo). She wasn't a street entertainer - you can wear anything to the festival :)
After the opening ceremony, 'That One Guy' (I think from Canada) played. He was fantastic - the crowd was really grooving along to the beat.
I had some more photos loaded on to this post, but only four came up. Anyway I had better go now as there is a big thunderstorm about to hit.
Cheerio,
Sandi xx

SOunds like an awsome event. We have the summer festival here with lots of things to do and also a 10 days on the island festival. I have booked us into a few of the paid activities. Makes Summer Holiday interesting and an excuse to get our to free activities,

Sounds as though you had a great time. Love the teapot.
I expect you'll be looking forward to your studio being finished. It's exciting just seeing it on the blog.
Is the event also on New Years evening?
