We have a family of Tawny Frogmouths nesting in our tipuana tree out the front of our house. Mum is on the left with her two babies beside her. Tawnys are usually hard to see because they sit still and are well camouflaged. The babies haven't learnt to sit still and look at us as we walk past the tree. The babies are getting much bigger now and have nearly all their feathers. They were so cute when they were younger, and were much lighter in colour - they looked like white pom-poms with eyes.

Thought I'd show you a few flowers that are blooming in my garden at the moment. The first one is a hydrangea. A lovely mauve flower with a blue centre.
This hydrangea is a Chinese forget-me-not type. A really pretty blue with lots of clusters of flowers.

Mr Roo trialled the new colour - Venetian Red , on one end of the carriage.
Here is our builder, Matt, fitting out the interior of the carriage. It looks much bigger since Matt took out the doorway.

I thought I'd show you the progress on the carriage. The 'platform' is up now, just has to have the stainless steel cables threaded through the railing. Then we oil the timber.
