A Parcel for me!

My Stitcher's Angel parcel arrived yesterday (on my birthday!) all the way from Iceland (can you believe it - wow!). THANK-YOU so much Gudrun.

Look at all the goodies that came. I have been spoiled! There was a beautiful drawstring bag - very handy to put small project in; a lovely needlecase; a wonderful folder with a mini cutting mat and a cute little quilter's ruler; wait there's more; some christmassy DMC threads, a pack of really pretty ribbons; a pack of great buttons in natural colours; some tissues (great to put a pack in my handbag - I needed some more :) and some nice label stickers.

Here is a photo of the front of my lovely new quilter's folder. (stitchery designed by May Britt)Lovely stitching, Gudrun.

Here is the inside of the needlecase. It even had a needle included. There are pockets on the other side to put in packets of needles.
I love Gudrun's choice of colours used for the sewing accessories, a lovely country check, a green print featuring acorns and leaves, and a matching chocolate striped fabric - brilliant!
It was a lot of fun to participate in this swap and make new friends,
- thanks Helen for organising!
Happy Stitching,
Sandi xx
